On Nov. 14, Louis Vanderherp of Ferron hit a hole-in-one on hole #17 at Millsite Golf Course. It was senior day at the golf course and he decided to use a pitching wedge from the red tees. Yep, right in!
The seniors put money in every time they golf toward prize money for this type of achievement. He received a check for $1,000. Two golfers have accomplished this feat this year, and two others got hole-in-ones last year.
