The Carbon Dance Classic is a studio dance competition that is sponsored yearly by the Carbon High School Dino Dynamics drill team.
This two-day event features solo, duo and trio performances on the first day while team events take place on the second and final day of the competition. A number of studios from Carbon and Emery counties make the choice to participate in the dance classic, which is expressed to be greatly appreciated by the drill team members.
This year, the Dino Dynamics also made the decision to team up with the United Way of Eastern Utah for their annual Soles 2 Souls event.
With that in mind, there were guest performances by the Carbon High School Latinos in Action as well as the USU Eastern Dance Team. Donations were collected for shoes that will be given to children of the community.
