Fifth grade students at Creekview Elementary School recently received a small instructional session with members of Ballet West. The dance company sent out letters to elementary schools to give students the opportunity to learn from them. Creekview was quick to reply to the offer given by the professional dance group.
Over the course of three days, the students were taught a performance. On Thursday morning, the students were given the opportunity to show off all that they had learned. In front of the student body, parents and other family members, the fifth grade students put on a performance that impressed all.
“The kids watching loved it and the fifth graders that performed it did great,” school secretary Shelly Bird stated.
