PRICE, Utah—As part of its commitment to healthy and productive landscapes, the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Price Field Office has extended the comment period from Aug. 4 to Aug. 20, 2018 for public comment on an environmental assessment (EA) analyzing the Tavaputs Plateau Sage-Grouse Restoration Project. If approved, the proposed plan will treat fuels and restore Sage-grouse habitat within a 4,048-acre analysis area.
The EA is available for review online at https://go.usa.gov/xUdqh. Comments may be submitted online via the ePlanning website by end of business Aug. 20. Comments can also be mailed to Price Field Office at 125 South 600 West, Price, UT 84501. All mailed comments must be post marked by Aug 20, 2018. Please reference “Tavaputs Plateau Sage-Grouse Restoration Project” in the subject line.
Before including an address, phone number, email address, or other personal identifying information in any comments, please be aware the entire comment—including personal identifying information—may be made publicly available at any time. Requests to withhold personal identifying information from public review can be submitted, but the BLM cannot guarantee it will be able to do so. All submissions from organizations and businesses, and from individuals identifying themselves as representatives or officials of organizations or businesses, will be available for public inspection in their entirety.
