Rock climbers and locals alike are invited to take part in the inaugural Joe’s Valley Bouldering Festival held in Castle Dale and Orangeville during Thanksgiving weekend.
“The whole idea for this festival is to continue to form good relationships between the locals and the climbers,” explained event coordinator Adriana Chimaras.
To accomplish that goal, the festival will offer games for both climbers and community members as well as clinics touching on various subjects and opportunities for people to learn about the sport. The festival is supported by such businesses as the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance and Momentum Indoor Climbing.
