Bowling for the Blind Event to Raise Money for Childhood Blindness Research

The second annual Bowling for the Blind event will take place Saturday, Feb. 28 at Gateway Lanes in Helper. The event will begin at 3 p.m. with a scratch no-tap singles tournament. Unlimited bowling for fun will immediately following the tournament. Bowling will continue until 11 p.m.

Entry fee for the tournament is $20 per person. Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners. A $15 fee will be charged for those participating in the fun bowl.

Bowling for the Blind is sponsored by the Oakley Giraud Foundation with proceeds going toward finding a cure for childhood blindness.
