Press Release

Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts from around the Price area gathered last Saturday to help do some spring cleaning for our fair city. About 45 youth and adults met at the Price City River Trail parking lot and were organized into groups to start the clean-up.

The older boys have adopted Highway 10 (Carbon Ave.) from main street south to Tony Basso Auto, and the younger boys have adopted the River Trail. This was the first of three “adopt -a-highway” service projects that the Scouts have committed to do this year.

The same process will occur next August and again in October. A few months ago the Tavaputs District, BSA entered into an agreement with Price City to help with community clean-up. As a result of the day’s efforts about 20 bags of trash were collected.

The Scouts are proud of our city and excited to be helpful in keeping it clean.
