A fun agenda item came to the attention of the Wellington City Council during its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday evening. This item, the business license transfer for the 50 & 6 Diner & Country Store at 1939 East Main, was presented by Alyson and Thomas Mark.
The diner was previously opened in Wellington but has not been for some time. The Mark’s made the decision recently to take over and re-open the establishment. The business license transfer request was approved by the council. A re-opening date for the diner has not yet been announced.
