After losing for the first time on Friday in pool play, the Carbon 12 All-Stars took on eventual Pacific Southwest Regional Champion Hawaii on Saturday in the regional semifinal, losing in the single elimination tournament 4-0.

Carbon took its perfect 3-0 record into a matchup with Visalia, Calif. on Friday. Visalia hit four home runs in its 9-2 win. Despite the loss, Carbon wrapped up as Pool A’s #2 seed going into Saturday’s game against Hawaii.

Hawaii was the most dominant team in the field, having only allowed seven total runs going into Saturday. Carbon allowed just four runs to the champion, who went on to beat Yuma, Ariz., 10-0 in the championship game.

Carbon was led by host of players, with Wyatt Falk taking home an all-region trophy.
