Carbon District to Hold Meetings for Input From Public

The Carbon School District Board of Education will be holding a series of open houses in July for the public to have input into possible remodeling and construction at Carbon High School and Helper Middle School.

The first meeting will take place on July 1, 2019 at Bruin Point Elementary with consequent meetings on July 8 at Carbon High School and July 9 at Helper Middle School. All meetings will be held 7 p.m. at the respective locations.

District officials and board members will have material and display boards to explain different options that are available for the public to comment on. The input given by attendees will be used by the board to determine what the public sees as important to the needs of their communities and children that attend each school.

Light refreshments will be served.
