The Carbon Dinos cheer team participated in the region cheer competition over the weekend.
Carbon had a good showing at the competition, finishing first in pom, second in fight song and second in all-girl show cheer.
Also at the event, Lady Dino Jordyn Gagon was named the top jumper.
The state cheer competition will take place on Jan. 26 at Salt Lake Community College.
