The Carbon Dinos traveled to Herriman Tuesday and fought hard against Providence Hall to earn their first win of the season.
Carbon was strong through the game, with Giovanni Pavoni making the first goal for the Dinos. Noah Hansen found the net twice for the Dinos during the second half, with Luke Hansen making a third goal for the Dinos. Providence Hall helped the Dinos, making two more goals into Carbon’s net, ending the game 6-3.
The Dinos earned their second win again on Thursday in a region game against Maeser Prep at home. Pavoni again helped the Dinos to a win, scoring two goals in the first half, bringing the score 2-1 at the break. Saul Beecher added another goal in the second half, ending the game 3-1 against Maeser Prep.
Carbon will take on North Sanpete in Price on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
