Carbon took to the mat as the Dinos visited the stout Juab Wasps on Thursday.
Robert Bobby Blake (138), Jacob Barlow (170) and Blake Grundy (285) all won their matches for the Dinos. Blake and Grundy both pinned their Juab opponent.
Then, on Friday and Saturday, Carbon continued on the road to participate in the Tournament of Champions in Vernal.
Blake made it all the way to the quarter-finals before he fell to Donny Proffit (Kemmerer). Bryce Judd (120) won his first round with a late pin, while Keith Randall also pinned his opponent in his opening match. Ridic Migliari (160) and Keityn Hunt (160) each won their respective second matches by virtue of a pin.
Up next for the Dinos is the multi-state Intermountain West Rockwell Rumble this coming weekend, Jan. 18-19.
