Castle Heights Students Help Children in Need

Fourth and fifth grade students at Castle Heights Elementary donated their free time to help local children in need last week.

During their classroom Valentine’s Day parties last Thursday, fifth grade students tied blankets while fourth graders created activity books to donate to the Family Support and Children’s Justice Center.

Although classroom parties are typically a time to celebrate and play games or participate in activities, the Castle Heights youngsters enjoyed every minute spent creating items to be used by children at the justice center.
