Castle Country women looking to get fit now have a new option in Price at EBO Fit. The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce joined EBO Fit owner Emily Olsen and her new business to the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday afternoon.

Olsen dove head first into the fitness industry in 2002. Then, in 2006, she became a certified ACE personal trainer, a process that included months of education before culminating with a test. Since then, Olsen has continued her education, refreshing her knowledge and learning new skills through training every two years.

Six years ago, Olsen and her family relocated to Price as her husband secured a new job at USU Eastern. Olsen brought her passion to fitness with her as she trained with clients that are looking to achieve a variety of fitness goals. This resulted in the gym that operates out of her home where she trains women and welcomes members to enjoy the gym through monthly membership fees.

“This is such an exciting day,” Olsen said following the ribbon cutting. “I have dreamed of owning my own gym for a long time.”

With her own gym now open, Olsen is offering personal training programs, which include basic, boxing and running options. There is also a teen girl squad training program being offered at the end of May. The program will last four weeks and aims to prepare young women for fall athletics.

In addition to training options, open gym memberships are available for purchase. For just $25 per month, or $20 per month if packaged with a training program, women are welcome to use the gym Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. Hours will be increased if there is adequate demand.
