Students at Bruin Point Elementary learned more about child abuse and bully prevention during a recent assembly hosted by Prevent Child Abuse Utah (PCAU).
Freddy the Frog and Safety Saurus, along with the PCAU Salt Lake Prevention Team, traveled to Bruin Point to give the special presentation. According to the prevention team, feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive.
“The examples the presenter gave to the students were relevant and age appropriate,” one teacher shared. “The students were able to get important information about something we don’t have time to cover here.”
