The recently opened K2 Gallery located on Helper’s Main Street had a full house on Friday evening when Kate Kilpatrick-Miller’s anticipated first installment of “The Faces of Helper” debuted to the community. This project features many familiar faces that are found throughout Helper that have helped shaped it into the community that it is today.

While perusing the more than 20 paintings in this first installment, created with Kilpatrick-Miller’s own hands, guests were also treated to light refreshments such as crackers and sparkling cider. The opening of the installment had no cover charge. The paintings were also available for purchase.

Members of the community can view the exhibit in the coming weeks by visiting K2 Gallery, located at 102 South on Helper’s Historic Main Street. The gallery is open Thursday through Saturday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The next installment of the project is anticipated to open in June of 2018.
