On Sept. 6 and 7, UHSRA Rodeos were at the Panguitch arenas. Although several of the Emery team participated, only five members scored qualifying points. On Friday, Baylee Jacobsen gained four points for a seventh place finish in the breakaway roping. On Saturday, Abbie McElprang was eighth in breakaway. The rough stock arena gave points to Kayson Jensen for a first place finish in barebacks, Korby Christiansen second in saddle broncs and Caleb Rubio fourth in bull riding.

This coming weekend, Emery will host at the Castle Dale arena on Friday evening and Saturday. It is a preference rodeo alternating with Salina, so the road between the two towns will be busy with horse trailers and rodeo contestants.
