The Lady Dinos soccer team welcomed the Delta Rabbits to their home field on Thursday afternoon.
Though playing on familiar ground, the girls fell short to Delta, who played the first half triumphantly, taking a 1-0 lead into the break. Carbon was able to secure a goal in the second, yet still fell short to Delta at 2-1.
With a final score of 3-1, the Delta Rabbits walked away with the win.
CHS player Katie Marshall secured the loan goal while Adi Nielson and Lexi Curtis played well for the Rabbits.
The Lady Dinos currently sit in third place in the Region 14 standings. Carbon (8-5, 7-4 Region 14) will next travel to take on #2 Juab (9-4, 8-2 Region 14) on Oct. 4.
