The Lady Dinos took a narrow win over Union on Thursday as the teams met for a Region 14 matchup in Price. Carbon walked away with the 1-0 win.
The first half was slow for both teams as they went into the break tied, 0-0. Carbon notched the only goal of the game in the second half off of the foot of Katie Marshall.
Marshall also put in work on the defensive end, sharing the defensive shutout with Ronni Williams.
Currently in third in Region 14, Carbon (6-3, 5-2 Region 14) will be back on the field on Tuesday as the team travels to take on #4 Providence Hall (4-6, 3-4 Region 14). The Dinos bested Providence Hall 1-0 back in August.
