Dinos Tee Off on Competition at Home Course *Photo Gallery*

Thursday marked Carbon’s turn to host a Region 12 golf meet. The Dinos took advantage of their home course and blew away the competition.

Carbon (304) finished with a 25-stroke lead over second place Richfield (329). Grand came in third with 342 strokes followed by Emery in fourth (360), South Sevier in fifth (363) and San Juan in sixth (427).

Dino Bode Salas led all golfers with a low of 68 strokes on the day while teammate Kaden Slavensky was close behind at 71. Travin Wakefield led the Spartans with a 86.

The teams will head to Roosevelt on Wednesday as the golf season begins to wind down.
