The Lady Panthers started off the week with a few road wins. On Tuesday, Pinnacle swept Tintic 3-0 for its first win of the season. The victory snapped a seven-game losing streak. The Lady Panthers won 25-13, 25-17 and 25-22 to complete the sweep.

Over the weekend, Pinnacle participated in the Wendover tournament and started out right where they left off. The Lady Panthers beat Dugway 2-1, 25-23, 12-25 and 15-7. They then did the same to the host team, Wendover, 2-0, by a score of 25-22 and 26-24.

After stringing together three wins, the games on Saturday did not go Pinnacle’s way. Rowland Hall-St. Marks swept the Lady Panthers 25-16 and 25-13. Tabiona and St. Joseph followed suit, winning 25-19, 25-11 and 25-22, 25-8, respectively, over Pinnacle.

Steph Sasser led the team in kills (19) and digs (44) over the week.

The Lady Panthers (3-10, 0-0 Reigon 19) will host rival Green River (6-2, 2-0 Reigon 19) on Tuesday to begin region play. They will remain in Price to face Whitehorse (3-4, 0-1 Region 19) on Saturday.
