The Spartans went on the road again Tuesday, taking on South Sevier in a region matchup.
Emery was ahead early on in the first half. Brendan Johansen, Parker Sermon and Tanyon Allred each found the net for the Spartans, bringing the score 3-0 before the break. The score remained the same through the second half as Emery held strong on defense and brought home the win.
The Spartans (7-3, 5-1 Region 15) will again be at home again on Thursday to take on Grand (4-4, 4-3 Region 15). Emery currently sits on top of the Region 15 standings, narrowly edging out Manti and North Sanpete.
