The Emery County Care and Rehabilitation Resident of the Month for July 2019 is Jesse Freeman.

Jesse Freeman was born in Mesa, AZ and grew up in Meadows, UT. He attended Millard High School in Fillmore where he was an All-State football player.

He joined the Air Force and served four years in Alaska. Jesse was a core driller, cement finisher and carpenter. He worked throughout the lower 48 states.

He married his wife Myra in 1990. Myra was the 1979 Miss Elko Runner-Up.

Jesse has three sons. He loves motorcycles, the outdoors, fishing and hanging out with his buddy at Jackson Racing in Castle Dale. Jesse sustained injuries during a dirt bike accident, which left him paralyzed.

Jesse loves spending time with his wife Myra. He enjoys his animals, which consist of six cats, one dog and five chickens, all of whom were rescued.
