The girls softball season started the beginning of June. So far, the girls have played two weeks.
First and second graders are taught by coaches and a team comprised of eighth to twelfth grade girls. They teach the youngsters the basics of softball including throwing, catching and running bases.
Girls between third through seventh grade also participate.
