The Emery Spartans kicked off the 2018 football season with their Black and Gold game on Friday evening. The annual scrimmage pitted Spartans against each other in a friendly competition in Castle Dale.
Emery will take on its first foe this coming Friday as the team hosts the Richfield Wildcats. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. in Castle Dale.
