Only two Emery wrestlers ended up victorious Wednesday evening in their matches against the Beaver High School team. Gus Dalton wrestling in the 145 weight class and Newt Oveson at 160 pinned their opponents.
The Emery team had to forfeit four matches as there are not weight qualified wrestlers in all the groups. The final score was Beaver 66 and Emery 12. The Spartan squad will be competing in the tourney at Richfield over the weekend, Jan. 6 and 7.
