After months of not being able to purchase fuel in Ferron, citizens and passers-by can now buy both gasoline and diesel at the Big Mountain Lodge on the city’s Main Street.
Brad and Julie Benson recently acquired Gilly’s and now offer these services. Other services available at the business include lodging along with a car wash, tire shop and deli. Included in the deli are breakfast and lunch specials, coffee, pizza, ice cream and baked goods.
Big Mountain Lodge also boasts a full-scale convenience store. The store is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays.
The new owners are currently preparing for a grand opening celebration in the near future.
