Zac Bradley pitched a complete game, and added a three-run triple in the fourth inning to spur the Helper American Legion Merchants to the 12-2 win Thursday in Pleasant Grove. The game lasted just five innings against Taylorsville.
Helper scored four runs in the first, fourth and fifth innings to end the game early.
Helper will now take on the winner of a matchup between St. George and Roosevelt on Saturday at noon in the second round.
