As the holiday season continues, Utah’s Christmas Town aims to provide the community far and wide with a number of family fun events. To end the 2018 holiday season on a positive note, the well-attended and greatly-anticipated yearly Electric Light Parade was once again hosted over the weekend.

There was no shortage of businesses, organizations and various community members that entered the parade this year, lighting up Helper’s Main Street even more than usual. Following the conclusion of the parade on Saturday evening, all those that stuck around were also treated to a firework show.

The parade was headed by grand marshal, Mike Zamantakis the former Helper City Fire Chief. He spent 42 years with the city’s fire department. Prior to being named chief in 1996, Zamantakis served as the assistant chief for nearly 12 years.
