The offices of mayor and two council persons were filled in Castle Dale on Thursday with the incumbents as no one filed to run against them in the November election.
Mayor Danny Van Wagoner, assisted by his grandchildren, took the oath of office from Castle Dale City Recorder Lael White. He will now start his second term as mayor. Council persons Douglas Weaver and Julie Johansen were also sworn in at the ceremony.
