Pinnacle baseball player Jaxson Carlisle has decided to continue his baseball career at USU Eastern. He had previously committed to play at Grand View University but recently opted to stay close to home.

“I love coach Madsen and I know him and his staff have what it takes to get me beyond the next level. I feel like I can help USUE win a conference title,” Carlisle explained regarding his choice to play for the Eagles.

Carlisle will still be traveling with Team USA Planet Baseball in July and will also be part of the Mountain West Baseball Academy under coach Kavin Keyes. The Mountain West Baseball Academy is one of the most competitive clubs in the state of Utah and features players committed to colleges such as Stanford, TCU, Oregon State, Utah and BYU.

Carlisle concluded, “I am excited that I will get an opportunity to have a couple more years playing in front of my hometown. Go Eagles!”
