The Carbon Lady Dinos bashed six extra-base hits to take an 8-0 win over Gunnison Wednesday afternoon.
It took the Lady Dinos until the third inning to get on the board, but when they did, they never looked back.
Chandelle Nichols hit two doubles and Cyene Bigelow, Katie Basinger, Kim Johnson and Paige Haeck each contributed a two-bagger. Carbon scored all of its runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings.
Carbon (16-5, 3-3 Region 12) will host 2A Grand (9-11, 5-3 Region 15) on Thursday.
