North Summit, Carbon and South Summit all met in Moab on Saturday to join Grand in a swim meet. The Lady Dinos started off the day right by taking the first event, the 200 medley relay. They went on to win the 200 free relay later in the day.

Tyrca Jaramillo dropped 3.1 seconds of her time in the 200 free to win. She was not done setting personal records (PR), however. She shaved off another 1.64 seconds in the 100 free and finished first. Ashlin Baker and Emily Jespersen went one and two in the 50 free while Sofia Crompton finished in first in the 500 free. In the 200 breast, Nicole Swasey and Baker took the top two spots.

Gabe Ibanez won with new PRs in the 500 and 200 free by lowering his times by 4.8 and 1.58 seconds, respectively. Matthew Torres followed suit with a win in the 100 fly, shaving 0.63 seconds off his best time.

The Lady Dinos finished first with a score of 282 with North Summit (222) and Grand (172) right behind. The boys ended with 166 points for fourth place while North Summit won with 281.

Up next, Carbon will host Union and Vernal on Wednesday before it takes a break.
