The Carbon Lady Dinos used a 12-0 run spanning the third and fourth quarters to take a comfortable lead against the Summit Academy Bears Friday night in the first round of the 3A Playoffs, eventually winning the contest 52-36.

The Bears cut the lead six, 35-29, before Abbie Saccomanno hit back-to-back threes and Kelsey Sorenson followed up with six straight points to push the lead to 18, 47-29, early in the fourth quarter.

Saccomanno led the Lady Dinos with 16 points. Sorenson was next with 14 points. She also added 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals. Jordan Bianco chipped in nine points as well. Jodi Noyes just missed a double double with six points and 11 rebounds.
