On Tuesday evening, the Green River Lady Pirates played against Wayne and took a loss.
Wayne started the evening strong with 18 points in the first quarter, taking 23 points into halftime. The game ended with Wayne scoring 19 points in the last quarter for a final score of 66-35.
Hannah Morrill scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Wayne past Green River. Talynn Lovato’s 20 points for the Lady Pirates were not enough as the team suffered the loss.
