A Kober Livestock and Trucking semi was side-swiped near exit 243 on Highway 6 in Price around 12 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Kober Livestock driver, it was nearly a head-on collision after a semi headed westbound lost traction of his trailer through the sharp corner, causing his trailer to slide due to the moisture on the road. Fortunately, he was able to gain control of his vehicle before colliding head on, causing his semi to drag down the side of the livestock trailer.

DNR and Utah Highway Patrol reported to the scene immediately.

Livestock was in the trailer at the time of the accident but none of them were injured. No injuries have been reported at this time.
