The Templars and Spartans went head-to-head on Thursday in the snow. The weather ended up helping Manti more than Emery as the Spartans were down 2-0 at halftime.
The Spartans tried for a comeback after the break as Brock Winter notched Emery’s first and only goal. Manti added another in the second to take the 3-1 victory.
Emery (6-5-1, 4-3-1 Region 15) currently sits in second in region standings and will take on #1 Grand (10-1-1, 7-0-1 Region 15) on Tuesday. The Spartans will then wrap up region play as they travel to Richfield on Thursday.
