Emery battled Manti on the soccer field on Thursday at home for their third game of region play.
Manti scored many in the first, leading 5-0 at the half. The Spartans were unable to net the ball in the second, leading to a 8-0 loss. The team is 0-3 in region play.
Emery also played two away games before the Thursday defeat, traveling to Grand and Gunnison high schools. The Spartans lost both battles but held strong, netting the ball in both games. The scores were 3-2 and 4-1, respectively.
Emery will face Manti for the last time this season on Tuesday on the road.
