Carbon headed to Manti on Thursday to play the top ranked Lady Templars. It was a close game in the first half but Manti held the 1-0 advantage at halftime. The Lady Templars grabbed two more goals in the second and shut out the Dinos to take the contest 3-0.
Carbon (13-3, 9-1 Region 12) will play in Price on Wednesday in the first round of the state playoff game against San Juan (4-6,4-6 Region 12). The Dinos beat the Broncos by scores of 8-0 and 9-1 earlier in the year.
