The Helper American Legion Merchants scored five runs in the sixth inning to take a come-from-behind victory over a tough Dixie squad Friday night in Price.

Zac Bradley went 2-3 in the game with two solo home runs. Ty Anderson went 3-4 with a triple and two singles. Anthony Jones went 3-3 with a double and two singles with two RBIs.

After Dixie scored a run in the top of the second, Bradley homered on the first pitch he saw in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game.

Dixie then added four more runs in the fifth to break the game open. Bradley led off the bottom of the sixth with his second home run. Collin Lewis, JP Powell, Anthony Jones and Anderson each added consecutive hits to rally for five runs to take the one-run lead 6-5.

Triton Abeyta, spelling starter Cody Lowe who went six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, pitched the final inning for the win. He struck out two batters in the one inning.

Helper will take on St. George on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Richfield High School. The team will then turn around for another matchup with Dixie at 7 p.m. in Richfield.
