Miss Emery County Michaela Wolford took to the Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre stage as she competed in Miss Utah 2018 competition last week.

Beginning with the “Show Me Your Shoes Parade,” Wolford won the “going the extra mile award” for her Emery County styled cowgirl boots. She then participated in a fashion show and continued on to the onstage portion of the competition.

Some of the areas of competition that Wolford participated in included her performing her musical theater piece entitled “One Hundred Easy Ways To Loose A Man” as her talent, the fitness/swimsuit portion, interview and onstage question.

As Wolford represented Emery County well during the competition, she made many friends and had a great time.

She would like to thank her family and friends who helped her get ready for Miss Utah in only 10 short weeks. Wolford hopes that she made the citizens of Emery County proud.
