Zions Bank Press Release

Free Kids Day Out Adventure on June 28 features “Nature’s Ultimate Machines”

A traveling exhibit from the Natural History Museum of Utah is at Zions Bank’s Price Financial Center on 45 S. Carbon Avenue.

“Nature’s Ultimate Machines” is a free exhibit located in the bank’s lobby that empowers guests to explore how birds, moths and bats sense the world in ways we can only imagine.

Families, scouts and youth groups can experience the exhibit, along with additional items from the Museum’s collection, at a free Kids Day Out adventure on Thursday, June 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors will receive a coupon for one free museum admission, enjoy light refreshments and engage in several hands-on activities, including examining rocks and minerals, investigating shells from around the world, and learning about pollination from butterfly and insect specimens.

Additionally, experts from The Prehistoric Museum from USU-Eastern will host an activity station for guests to enjoy.

“Nature’s Ultimate Machines” is open for viewing during lobby hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the month of June. The exhibit also features coupons for discounted admission to the museum located on the University of Utah campus.

“Nature’s Ultimate Machines” is part of the long-standing Traveling Treasures partnership between the Natural History Museum of Utah and Zions Bank. As a statewide resource, the museum extends its reach by sharing collections through Zions Bank’s network of branch offices across Utah.
