NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY CARBON COUNTY AND THE SOUTHEAST UTAH HEALTH DEPARTMENT

The Carbon County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on October 16, 2019 to receive public comment on a proposed exchange of the old Carbon County 7th District Court Building located at 149 East 100 South, Price, Utah, and the adjacent Sheriffs Office Detective’s building, with the building owned by the Southeast Utah Health Department at 28 South 100 East, Price, Utah. The purpose of the exchange is to allow the Health Department to renovate and move into the old District Court Building. All interested persons shall have an opportunity to be heard. The average of two commercial appraisals obtained by Carbon County values the old 7th District Court building together with the Sheriffs Detective’s building at $1,005,000, and the Health Department building at $520,000.

The hearing will be held at Wednesday, October 16, 2019, during the meeting of the Board of Commissioners scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Carbon County Administration Building, Second Floor, located at 751 East 100 North, Price, Utah.
