This notice is given to the public, including those entitled to notice, pursuant to Utah Code Section 17-27a-204 and is being mailed to those entitled to notice under Utah Code Section 17-27a-204 (2).
Emery County intends to consider amendments to its general plan to establish desired management classifications for Inventoried Roadless Areas (IRAs) on the Manti La-Sal National Forest.
The public and affected entities are invited to review and comment on the draft general plan amendments. The documents (text and maps) will be available from the Emery County Clerks office and on the Emery County website at: emerycounty.com in advance of the meetings listed below:
The dates of public hearings in which the draft plan amendments will be considered are:
– November 14, 2018 @ 7 PM Emery County Planning Commission (recommendation)
– November 20, 2018 @ 3:00 PM Emery County Commission meeting
All meetings and hearings will be held at the Emery County Administration Building, 75 East Main St. Castle Dale, Utah.
