The Pinnacle Panthers found themselves in a tight contest on Friday night as they traveled to Monument Valley to take on the Cougars in search of their first region win.
It quickly became a close contest as it back and forth the entire game. Unfortunately for the Panthers, they found themselves on the wrong end of the score and lost 56-53 in the close matchup.
Riley Wilson led Pinnacle in scoring with 18 points.
The Panthers (3-12, Region 19) have a home region game against the Monticello Buckaroos (8-6, 3-0 Region 19) on Friday at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live online.
