Pinnacle’s baseball struggles continued last week. They faced a talented Wayne team on the road on Wednesday and fell 10-1. The Badgers scored in five of their six innings offensively. They held the Panthers to just two hits and one run over seven innings. Mcguire Knocks went 1-2 with a double and a walk while Landon Hardy hit an RBI double in the fifth.

Then, on Friday, the Panthers were home against Diamond Ranch Academy. The Diamondbacks pushed across seven runs to start the game and went on to apply the mercy rule after five innings, winning 13-1. For the second straight contest, Pinnacle was held to only two hits and one run. Christain McLean and Benjamin Scott each had one of those hits, going 1-2.

Up next, Pinnacle (4-14, 0-11 South) will be traveling on Wednesday to face Piute (10-7, 6-5 South). The Panthers will return home to play Bryce Valley (3-14, 1-10 South) on Friday.
