Huntington City Councilman Kelly Oveson recently had an idea to add a mural to the back of the concession stand at the city’s rodeo grounds. He expressed the possibility with councilwoman Lisa Miller and she suggested enlisting the services of Chase Fausett.

A 2015 Emery High graduate and recent Snow College graduate, Fausett attended university with an emphasis in fine arts. With his expertise, he agreed to do the mural, which depicts a cattle drive in the mountain and hills surrounding the arena. The land where the arena is now was once owned by the local cattlemen who traded the ground to the city for the rodeo arena. The painting shows the heritage of the area.

Chase Fausett is working on building his own business, Buckhorn Graphics. He specializes in vinyl decals, vinyl t-shirts designs and customized artwork. Fausett can be contacted by phone at (435) 609-6695, by email at FausettC@yahoo.com or online at chasefausett.wixsite.com/chasefausett.
