The Lady Panthers hosted Rockwell for their season opener on Tuesday evening. They came out strong in the first quarter with a lot of intensity and ended the quarter with a 15-11 lead. Both teams struggled offensively in the second quarter; especially Pinnacle as they were only able to put a single point on the board. They entered the half down, 17-12.

The Panthers tired as the game went on and it showed in the third quarter as Rockwell had its best offensive quarter and outscored Pinnacle 17-8. The Panthers played better in the final quarter but could not overcome their deficit and lost 46-34.

“We had moments of great play,” head coach Mark Stuckenschneider said. “We just need to keep our intensity going for the full 32 minutes.”

The Lady Panthers will look to bounce back when they travel to play Merit next Wednesday, Nov. 28.
