The students of Pinnacle Canyon Academy’s track team took time out of their schedules to do some volunteer work at Parkdale Nursing Home on Monday, May 2.

The track students worked for approximately two hours. They did yard work and cleaned up the dirt and debris in the parking lot.

“The things kid learn from athletics will carry on into being an adult and part of that is being a good human being,”,” said PCA Elementary Principal and head track coach Mark Stuckenschneider. “They worked really hard; the facility was much nicer when we left. It was a good experience all around.”

The Pinnacle Panthers track team will participate in a region meet on Wednesday in Blanding. The team will also compete in the state competition on May 20 and 21 at Brigham Young University.
